Notara v1.1.0

Smart Notetaking.

Todo Management.

Visual Organization.

Notara is a local notes workspace that combines markdown editing, todos, vision boards, calendar planning, and an AI assistant with image generation capabilities into one sleek desktop and web experience.

Default theme Dark theme with pink accents and adjustable glass intensity.
Runtime targets Browser SPA, Tauri desktop app, and Dockerized self-hosted web runtime.
Storage model Desktop writes readable files to app storage while web falls back to local browser storage.

Markdown notes

Rich note editing, live preview, a formatting toolbar, GitHub-flavored tables, syntax-highlighted code blocks, tags, pinning, and save shortcuts.

Todos and planning

Date-based task lists, sub-items, progress tracking, time scheduling, and a calendar view with upcoming and selected-day tabs.

Vision boards

Drag, resize, recolor, and filter mixed image and text boards for planning, inspiration, and reference gathering.

AI assistant

Pollinations-backed text and image generation with configurable models, chat persistence, and save flows into notes or boards.

Local-first storage

Desktop builds automatically use a Notara workspace folder. Web builds fall back to browser storage when filesystem access is unavailable.

Optional legacy extras

Supabase auth and GitHub, Google Drive, and Dropbox integrations remain available as opt-in, legacy-oriented capabilities.
